The Rhododendron in the Backyard

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.

Now, I just have to learn how to deadhead the plant.

  1. Congratulations on successful blooming. I have failed with rhododendrons due to not properly balancing the content of acid in the soil. This beauty is supposed to filter carbon monoxide toxins from the air.

  2. Thanks JFB. I don't know what made this particular plant bloom, it really didn't get a lot of attention from me, until this spring when I played in the soil surrounding it a bit. My neighbor's plant did not bloom much this year. I think that it is sometimes the luck of the draw.
